As you thin out those unused items at home this spring, consider donating them to FOCAL. Specifi cally, the Friends are requesting donations of gently used books. (Please, no textbooks, software manuals, encyclopedias, "condensed" books, or magazines.) CDs, DVDs, video games, and hand-held games are also welcome. These items may be brought to the Circulation desk during regular library hours and a receipt for tax purposes can be provided-- just ask. Also, if you enjoy shopping at the Friends book sale, why not become a Friend? Volunteer opportunities are available for all ages.

Be A Friend

The Friends of the Cary Area Public Library (FOCAL) are looking for some new members. A Friends group can have a strong positive impact on the library. Friends provide a source of volunteers, a source of additional funding, and serve as advocates for the library. Application forms are available at the Circulation Desk and membership is free. Come in and join today.
