Preschool Reader Book Club

New Reading Clubs

For kids age 13 months to kindergarten. If you have graduated from our Baby Book Club, move on to our Preschool Reader Book Club. Read 75 books to your child and receive a special canvas book bag with pre-literacy goodies! Register at the Youth Services Desk; for Cary cardholders only.

Reading Patch Club

For kids infant to grade 6. Kids can earn cool, colorful, embroidered patches to collect or sew onto your backpack or jacket. Register at the Youth Services Desk to begin earning patches; for Cary cardholders only.

Vote! Vote! Vote for Books!

Hey kids: stop by the library and vote for your favorite book Tuesday, September 2 through Tuesday, November 4 (Election Day). We will announce the top three winners on Thursday, November 6. Participate and receive your choice of a bookmark or sticker. Also, you can get involved in the election process with Upstart's VoteForBooks.com program. This free, fun program gives readers a taste of our democratic process. Vote for your favorite picture and/or chapter books at www.VoteForBooks.com.
